unpopular opinion but if you can’t afford to tip a server, dont fucking go to a sit down restaurant. “but i really wan—” no. dont waste a servers time by going there, ordering your food, taking up a possible paying customers table, and then not tipping them. do you know how much of an asshole you look like? if you want food but can’t/don’t want to tip a server, go to fucking mcdonald’s. order to go if the restaurant offers it. just don’t be that guy. seriously.
